Mappae is the collective exhibition by Maddalena Granziera, Roberto Picchi and Vera Pravda that is focused on the mapping of the territories around the city of Bergamo (IT).
Through Maddalena Granziera's walks, the urban and natural landscape is first photographically documented and then reworked through pictorial and experimental processes.
The La Morla series follows the homonymous torrent in Bergamo, today almost completely buried due to the massive overbuilding that the city has undergone in the past. The water is symbolically brought back to the surface thanks to the dissolving action of the chemical product on the printed image. The yellow silhouettes are nothing more than clippings of the course of the same torrent that acquires a body and imposes itself once again on the urban space below.
